I have a login but I can tell you right now there are tooooo many options on this car so even if you see one going through in your color/miles, you really have no idea what you're buying unless you go there for yourself. And in case you are looking for DCT, most used M3s I've looked at are ALL manual, even on BMWs website. I will post up some numbers (assuming that isn't against the forum rules I just joined ; ] )

Edit:

9/8/2009 2008 BMW M3 CP SILV 12,102 2 8 Gas 6 N Y CD MR L $50,200
9/15/2009 2008 BMW M3 CP Base NONE 12,102 N N Dsl N N N None NO N $52,500
9/15/2009 2008 BMW M3 CP Base NONE 12,102 N N Dsl N N N None NO N $52,500

There has not been but 1 2009 since September and very few 2008s.

What's the current pricing on an E92 with say around 7,000 miles with DCT at Manheim? When are these E92's going to be available around $48/49k for something described above? I'm guessing when the 2010's have been out for 2-6 months? This dealership below told me over the phone the owner just recently turned down $51k....

I am reading those figures correctly - 08 coupes going for $52.5 at auction? Would be great to see the same data for sedans. Thanks.

Those are the only listing period for M3s. They just aren't going through like you guys think they are.. I will do some more searches tomorrow. Most of the cars that go to auction have been turned in on lease or dealer simply doesn't want it. Better off calling some BMW Dealers in your area to get an idea what they are selling for. I saw a 2008 M3 Coupe at my dealer today and it was still listed at over $61k. Didn't see the mileage but I'd guess it's less than 10,000 to warrant that price.

No M3s have gone to auction since september I beleive. Last week a 2007 M6 sold for $43,2, with 16000 miles. Terrible residual on that car!

Here are the Manheim results (manheim the company has multiple auction sites across the country)
Dealer trade is actually a bit lower than manheim since the wholesaler needs to have some room should the car need to go to auction. Figure when a dealer calls a wholesaler to get a number on the car he is going to be up to 5% below the numbers you see here. not possible to tell options beyond the tranny.

2008's. "A" means DCT.... lease is a financial services company, factory is bmw, and regular is a dealer/wholesaler.

My family usually doesn't buy high end cars from the auction but aside from physically going to Orlando, you're right there is no way to tell what kind of options a vehicle has which also makes it's sale value less significant. If you find one just off lease you can almost be assured it has many options. Better off buying from a BMW dealer to get CPO warranty (not sure if that can be obtained through the auction).

Here are some more relatively recent quotes:

And folks be careful posting these quotes. The data is proprietary and can open you to a lawsuit.
