Tbh, I signed up for Netflix the other day and I am thoroughly dissapointed. They have almost NONE of the biggest box-office hits. Movies I could not find (to name a few): Transformers 1-3, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Carribean, LOTR, Cast Away, etc.

Seriously, with all the buzz about Netflix I was kind of hoping they'd have almost everything. But it seems like they only have all the crap movies and a "little" bit of the decent ones.

But I digress. Go watch YPF on netflix. Pretty entertaining imo.

Yeah, it is interesting what netflix allows to be que over DVD/Blueray. I have seen if there is a serious of movies and the first in the serious was the best you can not get that as a streaming video, however the sequels you can get them.

For the most part netflix has bout 10,000 movies they can stream and these are older or less popular movies. If you want the newer or popular ones you have to get them on DVD.

We got netflix so the kids did not have to go out to block buster and rent movies when they had friends over. We also watch the shows which we probably would never gone to see or even rented since we pay the flat fee.

This sounds like something a grandparent would write. Seriously, did you honestly think you would have unlimited current blockbusters streaming to your TV in full HD for $8.99/mo? You obviously didn't do any research on the product. Netflix streaming is nice for old classics and *some* new movies but where it really shines is in documentary films (which I am now obsessed with) and TV series. The service is fantastic and for $18/mo I get 2 BluRays out at a time and unlimited HD streaming on nearly any electronic device, including my iphone. It's the best $18 I spend each month.

Best things I've seen lately were The Cove, I Think We're Alone Now, Catfish, and The Tillman Story.

The buzz is from Netflix in the US which still has much more variety than the one in Canada. Hopefully we will see improvements in this soon.
