Our setup was designed with our Bov's in mind so there are no detrimental effects. However I cannot speak for any other kits on the market. Since you do not have our kit it would be best to consult them before changing anything. Our Bov's are partially open when not under throttle and can barely be heard when cruising. Note: The right Bov channels back into our intake box. Last edited by SflBimmer8484; 02-21-2013 at 11:36 AM.. |

Very sexy and "full" looking! I have the CF instead of the blue but am trying to figure out the best way to paint the Active logo a nice yellow to match my brembos and now paddles
Any suggestions?

Chris, here's the link to the exact BOV you'd need with our kit:
http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...&Category_Code You'll need to use the "pink" spring. Tom is right about the "asthma" on DCT though. If you don't mind it, the actual shifts sound amazing. Tasi polished his to match his manifold |

I still don't get the asthma thing? It's either too quiet to notice or because I haven't driven a stock M3 in over a year...

BOV on a SC would be a little too fast and furious for my taste as you get a constant whistle sound when the vehicle is off throttle. Maybe when I was in my early 20's but in my early 40's pulling up to a business meeting or out driving with my wife I prefer just hearing the motor and the exhaust not a bunch of noise under the hood. There is a local SC car running a BOV that comes to our cars and coffee and it sounds a little obnoxious IMO. The owner took me for a few rides and admits that it gets a little old after awhile but he is an old fart like me

Yes you can. All you need to do is remove the silicon hose from the BPV to the intake pipe and cap the intake pipe. |

Chris, there's been change in Tial's designations as of 1/15/12. The correct spring is the GREEN spring.
