Best interior hands down and just a beautiful combo! Congrats on your ED journey and props for collecting your car then driving 1200 miles home instead of having it shipped as most would do, too bad you were not passed the 1200 mile break-in (I assume?) to "illegally" tear up those epic roads.

Awesome color combo. That would look ideal on an e90 (if they still made them, with a stick, my new dream ride).
Again, nice choice. I have a feeling that car will have the same "timeless' feel of an IB comp pack e46. Very nice car.

ROCK STAR CAR!!!!!!!
Koop, major congratulations again and your car is one of the most gorgeous M3's I've ever laid eyes on. THANK-you, THANK-YOU for taking the time to shoot such great pics AND VIDS of the Azurite. It's so hard to capture Azurite well. It's also my favorite (obviously) for the E92 M3, and your pictures as a whole are the best I've ever seen of the color!! (And I've searched like mad!) In addition to the iridescent blue, I love it when it also gives off at times a 'pure black' metallic color. I am amazed at how it can change color.

Nice!!! Dragon is a great way to go for a post-PCD road trip. As some of the other posters, I also took this route and got a kick of seeing the lookouts and stops that look so familiar. My PCD was in January, picked up the X6M and headed north through a storm into Robbinsville, driving through rain, some snow (not like what they are getting these days in New England) and even some icy conditions. Almost wanted to turn back thinking it was a bad idea, but next morning before it was time to drive the Dragon, it couldn't have been any more sunny and beautiful! And completely deserted, woot!
Congrats and just WOW at the color combo. Enjoy you new M3! Last edited by ddk632; 03-04-2013 at 08:25 PM.. Reason: Typo |

Now BMW just need to have a delivery center on the west coast to get my $$. Thought about doing the delivery years back but the though of spending a week driving back kept me from doing it. And I don't trust shipping companies.

Wow. Azurite has to be one of the most amazing colors I have ever seen.
It'll be on my list for my next one. Congrats.

What did you use to spray the front when you drive home from the performance center?

Wow, thanks everyone!
Since the last photos I've installed 30% Pinnacle F1 tint all around with Llumar Air Blue 80 on the windshield and a clear-bra. I'll take some updated shots after the next wash. Quote:

Looks like you had the time of your life. The Clear Bra is the second best investment you will make to protect the car. Two months later I'm glad I ordered my M3 with the full front Xpel Clear Bra. Just make sure you also order the Xpel products for the Clear Bra too.
Congrats! |
