Best car for around 38k

Ok so my sister is looking for a new car. Her old car is a 2001 330ci. I keep trying to convince her to spring for a used 535i I found but is insisting on keep it under 40k. Used cars are ok but looking for under 12k miles. I was thinking maybe a C350? I would tell her to 335i but with the facelift coming it would be dumb to get the old model. She wants to check out G35's but i cant stand them!

Car needs to be four door btw.

Any ideas?

Cadillac CTS is a good vehicle. The interior is awesome.

If i were in the position without a doubt i would go for the M3. But she needs four doors.

+1 on that! We'll see what the price tag ends up being but Audi is gonna turn some major heads with the new A4.

hmm...The havent really looked into the A4...Sounds nice....right now she is driving my dads range rover so the gas is killing her....she was trying to get into a car asap.....but shes not just going to go buy a car she doesnt really like....Im going to show her the A4 and see what she things

Volvo S60 T5(AWD turbo

Saab 9-3 (NO idea, you can always test drive it)
A4 2009(AWD I like the look of it even though there are many haters)

Korean cars:
Hyundai Genesis sedan(RWD with best warranty)
Hyundai Sonata(FWD with a great warranty too)

Japanese cars:
Lexus IS350 (RWD with no space at the back but its quick)
ES 350 (FWD I hate it)
Lancer Evolution(AWD,Low options)
Nissan Maxima(Heavy FWD p|g with a weird yet smooth CVT transmission)
Toyota Avalon(FWD with a bad interior)
Altima, Accord or Upcoming Mazda 6(FWD)(Really impressed by Mazda 6 look)
Acura TL 09 ( could be more then 38K, not impressed by FWD)
American cars:
CTS(RWD Really impressed by their quality)
Pontiac G8 GT(RWD 360hp

I'd say Audi. Best interior out there for the price, good performance (not great), and great looks.

She could just wait for the new E90.

...or buy a used IS350. It should be the as reliable as anything else new.
