Space Gray e90 on 20" BBS DBK LM-Rs Feedback Please...
Hey Everyone,
New M3 owner here. I recently acquired a set of LM-Rs and I'm really on the fence with it and wanted to get board members feedback on whether you think these will work on my e90 or not? Should I keep it or swap out with some classic LMs? I'm currently sitting on stock zcp suspension and yes I'm in a desperate need of a drop so please don't . Snapped a few pics today, right before it was forecasted to snow. Please let me know your thoughts. Last edited by Enforcer; 01-21-2013 at 09:37 PM.. |

LM vs LM-R is a toss-up IMO (in 20" size) but since you already have the LM-R's it's a no-brainer - keep them. Now if you were asking about the same wheels in 19", I would vote for LM's because they are available in better sizes (width / offset).

Thanks guys. I am really surprised at the number of LM-Rs votes. I might potentially have the opportunity to swap for some LMs which is the reason why I am contemplating on switching. Now you guys have me second guessing myself of keeping them instead. I guess these are good problems to have.
Are the LMs played out (due to replicas)? or LM-Rs more sought after? reason why I ask is b/c of resale value down the line. Last edited by Enforcer; 01-22-2013 at 12:00 PM.. |

IMO LM-R's look great but not in 20", my vote goes for a set of 19" LM's in either DBK or silver but nonetheless good luck on your decision

BBS in any 19" look way small (but I like my wheel to fill the gap and not the tire). These look good but I prefer LMs on E90.

I'm thinking about giving these a shot or perhaps changing out the center cap to red to break away all the dark colors. Polls are close, I guess there is a 50/50 mix review and is all based on preference and direction of style. Maybe a drop along with center caps will change my mind.
Keep the polls coming, I'm still interested in hearing what people have to say about which one looks best on the e90. |
