Yesterday I picked up my new Mineral White E93 M3. Words and emoticons cannot describe my joy. What a machine. It is fully loaded with the Fox/Black/Black interior and 6 MT (this made it hard to fine). Everyone's comments about the shifter being somewhat sloppy are accurate, so I will definitely be buying the ZHP shifter. Otherwise, the car is amazing. Much more aggressive/sporty than my S4.

Big thanks go to Ryan Amico @ Steve Thomas BMW. Ryan and his staff made my purchase super easy and painless. I literally was driving off the lot within 30 minutes of my arrival, and most of that time was checking out on my new car. Ryan is simply the best and I will never buy a BMW from anyone else. I recommend everyone else do the same.

Because TPIWP, below are some pictures I took at the dealership, along with my drive home down PCH. Enjoy; I know I am.

Mods are soon to follow, but I will enjoy her as stock for awhile.

That's my mother. The wife was too busy to take me, so the parents dropped me off. Despite the photos, she enjoyed the process. She almost bought a 650i before we left.

I know, I used to be a vert-hater too, but when you live in SoCal, it's hard to resist the open-top urge. The weather here is just too good.

And this is not really a sports car. A 911 is a sports car.
