Ordering M3!! Need Advice!!

Got a lease quote today for $848.46/month is this a good deal or no? No downpayment, 36 month lease 10K miles/yr ($868.46 for 12K miles/yr)

Price: $65,380, MSRP: $69,645. Residual: $43,179.90

Carbon Leather Trim

Heated Front seats (not cold weather package)


Is this a good deal? Please let me know as I am ready to order. Thanks

Based on the equipment list, the MSRP would be $75,545. Invoice would be $69,725 inclusive of the $180 training fee. Deduct $1500 for the current incentive. Estimating an adjusted purchase price of $68,725. The monthly payment would be $758 not including state tax. Assuming 6% tax, payment adjusted to $803. This is based on 10k/36 months with 62% residual and .00130 base money factor.

You may have access to other incentives such as loyalty or military programs. My numbers are simply to be used as a reference.

In short, your numbers don't align with what I believe is correct. But I do like your purchase price. Perhaps it is correct. Just double-check before signing.

I got this quote from David's BMW he's member on this forum, and I'm not in the military or anything so I won't get an incentive there, but I do currently have a 335i sedan that I had purchased in Canada would I get an loyalty incentive there?

I have not worked with David but others on this forum have. Based on their statements, he is a honest and straightforward CA. Beyond having financed with BMW FS within the last 12 months, I don't have a feel for Canada vs. the states and how the loyalty would apply.

By the way, the number you have for MSRP ($69,645) is wrong. That number looks to me like the invoice price of the car. Which means, at least by these figures, your getting the car for about 4k under invoice. Lucky you - if it's true.

Get him to send you a price sheet which gives you the out-the-door (OTD) price. Use that term. It should should list each option, its cost and the various fees associated with the transaction and the bottom line price. Only then will you accurately know what you are going to have to cough up to get this beauty.

Yea that's what I was thinking only $20/month more but I am going to buy out the car at the end of the lease anyway so it doesn't really matter?

If this is your plan, go with the higher residual at 10k miles. If you change your mind, additional miles can be purchased up to 6 months before lease maturity.
