2011 e90 Arrives Tomorrow

Good morning!

I doubt many of you remember - I was the guy who sold his 2006 M5 for my new 2011 M3 in late June. Well after tracking the car on the BMW site for nearly 2 months. I was given word to expect it at the dealer sometime last week, probably Friday. The day came & went, car did not arrive. However my salesman emailed me that it was not for sure due to be at their dealership tomorrow.

Now - they still have a couple of things to do, add the carbon spoiler & splitters, hardwire my v1 & install the exhaust. So I expect to pick it up sometime maybe Wednesday???

Yes - I realize - worthless without pics - lol - so I will take a few this week and post. I am anxious to see my interior - I ordered Jerez Black with the black leather interior with fox red inserts.

Getting a bit excited now.

just wanted to add - I would trade for a delay in the car being delivered just to have Collins back active on this site - I really miss his additions to the LOL thread

Congrats! I'm due to get mine 9/7 with PCD after what feels like an eternity from my ED in July. Mine's Space Gray but same interior and I have to tell you it looks unbelievable. I was a little apprehensive about the fox red inserts but after seeing it I feel like it's one of the best about the car. Us local E90s should get together to show we exist!

Can I also ask where you're getting the V1 installed and the cost? I'm a little apprehensive about turing it over to just anyone.

Again, congrats on your car! Oh, and I came from an M5, too, albeit an '03 E39. Loved that car.

Mine arrives at the port of NY next Thursday (09/08). I live in NJ and I am so desperate about getting it. How long from port to dealer in anyone's experience?

I had European Delivery and it was great but waiting for the car has been a torture
