Here's a photo of the custom ESCO 10498/10499 post with an X5 jack point. The block rotates and swivels on the "ball" on the top of the post.

Bump for great price. I love my 10498's...and I'm glad these modified ones weren't available when I bought them or I would have been paralyzed with indecision.

Short answer for immediate future:
$130 for the 10498 pair (shipped) + $85 for a pair of custom posts with blocks.

Long answer for near term future:
ESCO made the 10499 (shortened version) of the 10498 stands at my request. So far, no other reseller offers the 10499 model. In the short term, I plan to stock the 10499 stands in PA and ship 10498 stands from the manufacturer's warehouse. So far I have only ordered complete stands (base + rubber top post). I expect to have 10499 stands available without posts soon. Then I can ship the 10499 stands with either the rubber pad top posts or custom posts with block. The price for the 10499 stands with only the custom post will be about $160/pair including shipping.

Long Term plan: I will stock both the 10498 and 10499 bases in PA. I will have two types of heads for the custom posts. The block as shown in previous posts above, and a round aluminum pad. The round head will be about 2.5" in diameter and have a Urethane or rubber top.

The custom posts have three holes. The 10499 stands have four holes in the rubber padded post, and the 10498 has five holes in the rubber padded post. This means the range of the stands with the custom posts is 11" to 15" for the 10499 and 13" to 17" for the 10498.

Most cars in my target market can use the 10499 stands. Most SUVs would work better with the 10498 stands. 15" is about the height you need for a BMW or MB SUV. Both models of stands can be set to 15".

Hope this info helps.

ESCO Stands shipping week of 12-May-2014

All back orders for the ESCO 10498 and 10499 jack stands will ship next week. Unfortunately, we are already sold out of the 10499 stands before the shipment arrives. 10498 stands should have good availability for the next few months.

We have another order of 10499 stands due in at the end of May.

We now have plenty of stock of our custom posts for the ESCO stands.

ESCO 10498 jack stands now have two adjustment holes in the outer tube. So instead of five heights, the stands now have a total of nine possible height settings. The top hole in the post can not be aligned with the bottom hole in the base.

This change is so new that there are no available photos yet. The manufacturer added this feature to the 10498 stands after introducing it on our shorter 10499 jack stands.

Just wanted to leave a review for Fred@ReverseLogic here...

I bought a two sets of Torin T43004 Jack Stands on my own....I decided to have them altered to have them fit my BMW jack points...Fred was very accommodating and helpful with getting me setup and providing the Modified Jack Stands...He is very quick to respond through our 10 or so emails (even on Memorial Day weekend when he must have been enjoying the long weekend with friends/family)...He shipped the sets very quickly and also was helpful in explaining the differences between the Headless and Hex bolts..

He is a standup vendor and I would recommend anyone interested in these Modified Jack Stands to deal with Fred@ReverseLogic...I can guarantee you will have a positive experience just as I did...Thanks again bud!

ESCO 10498 stands low as $100 per pair w/purchase of custom posts

Reverse Logic is running a Father's Day Special on the ESCO 10498 stands through 15-Jun-2014. Normally we sell the ESCO 10498 stands for $130/pair including shipping to destinations in the Continental USA.

For the next three weeks you can get the 10498 stands for $100/pair with the purchase of our custom posts for $85/pair. The custom posts have a pivoting block that fits, BMW, MB, and Nissan GT-R jack points. This offer includes both the rubber padded flat top posts and the stainless steel post with pivoting block.

The stands will ship via UPS from Florida and the custom posts ship via Priority Mail from Pennsylvania.

The shorter 10499 stands are not included in this promotion since we are out of stock and we expect to have most of the next shipment of 10499 stands pre-sold.

I just received another shipment of the shorter 10499 jack stands. Most of the stands were committed to filling back orders. But, I have about 15 pair available.

The 10499 stands are 2" shorter than the standard 10498 stands. So they fit well under modern cars with less ground clearance.

The 10499 stands are available with the rubber padded flat top posts for $130 a pair or with the custom post with pivoting block for $160 a pair. Prices include shipping to destinations in the Continental USA.

http://www.reverselogic.us/shop.html...08&id=30773709

After months of spotty inventory availability, I now seem to have a steady supply of the 10499 stands available.

ESCO 10498 stands with custom posts

I had several pairs of the taller 10498 stands shipped in to PA without the standard flat top posts. These are now available with the custom posts which have the swiveling block for $160/pair.

I am not exactly sure to which "packaged kits" you are referring. However, the simple answer to you your question is that every possible configuration of jack stands described in this thread is still available.

Since I introduced the ESCO stands with the pivoting blocks, the interest level in the Torin T43004 stands has declined somewhat. ESCO stands are out selling the Torin stands 5 to 1. I have a few dozen pairs of Torin stands still available, but, I may phase them out once the inventory is exhausted.

The pivoting block on the stainless steel posts for the ESCO stands is one of several "heads" I will be offering for these posts. The current block fits BMW, MB, and Nissan GT-R jack points. The next saddle that will be offered is a pivoting round aluminum disk for use with reinforced pinch weld jack points commonly found on American and Japanese cars. It will have a padded slot so there won't be metal-to-metal contact with the pinch weld. Shortly afterwards I will be selling a 2.5" diameter rubber padded saddle without a pinch weld slot. The pivoting saddles and blocks can be easily snapped on and off the ball at the top of the post.

Clarification - I was referring to the Esco setup right up above my post, with the swiveling block posts for $160. Are you still selling them that way or do the posts need to be purchased separately from the stands?

The 10498 stands with the pivoting blocks on the posts are in stock and ready to ship.

Just click on the pivoting block post radio button at the above link.
