Indoor Car wash (My Rant)

Just my little rant...

I wish someone would open an indoor self car wash in the Chicagoland area. I hear Minnesota has them all over due to the temps.

+1. I have a hand wash shop by me that I love and a detailer that does better than me anyway, but this would be a great thing to have more of.

Just use optimum no rinse and you can wash in your own garage

+1 for this! On a similar note, does anyone recommend any places that albeit might cost a little more, but hand washes and uses "fairly" clean mitts/towels to minimize swirls?

If you are downtown, I'd recommend Simon's Shine Shop which is on the north side near Clybourn & Webster. They wash everything by hand and are very professional.

Thanks, I'll have to check them out. I'm not too far from Lincoln Park so I can always go there. I just want to make sure that they use clean equipment so as to not create so much swirling on darker paint.

I also use Simons. The owners are great people.

You're not supposed to get salt on it. It's in the manual.
