Different matter, but I am curious if you had ever given yourself a ticket for going over the speed limit in your M3? As we all know, reaching the speed limit and venturing beyond is way too easy.

Totally forgot to mention to get your cold start coded off...since getting mine coded off cold starts are much smoother and at a better volume.

It sounds awesome imo. I live in a nice suburban community and they used to bitch and moan but just got used to it, haven't had complaints in months. I don't drive fast, car is just loud.

From the outside the car sounds like this:

LOL! You're wondering why you're getting tickets for that? It's like sticking your wet fingers in an electrical socket and wondering why you get zapped! (Sounds great, though.)

Fight it..generate some evidence that it wasn't audible from over 150 feet.
Yea put your stock test pipes back on and fight it.

Apparently your neighbors are not very creative. A $6.00 can of expandable foam would solve the problem.

Hay, i came from a meet today and went with a group of people out of the meet onto the highway (not speeding) and a cop pulled me over for an loud muffler?

But i run a Eisenman race with connecting pipes with stock x-pipe (which passes emissions and everything and isn't loud)?

What should i do?

Damn Burak, not much you can do. a loud muffler ticket is a judgement call from the officer, you wont have much against him but neither will he. Not sure if contesting the ticket is worth it, I ended up just paying the ticket

I wrote every one of them. If they were local residents I would give them one warning and advise them install the stock exhaust. If I caught them again with the loud exhaust I issued the ticket.

Most people do not want to hear the loud exhaust. If you need a loud exhaust to validate yourself you would be better served spending that money on counseling.

You're a rare breed. They never get pulled over in my area, probably because half of them are cops and the other half are friends with them. Lol
