Exhaust Mod clip - high speed fly by
I recently had the oppurtunity to run my car at the AAA speedway during a private track day. Absolutely fantactic day, car ran great and I had a buddy who took a nice little clip of my car running down the straight away of the nascar track section of the sports car track.
For those who do not remember or do not know, check this thread out to see my exhaust set up: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=352503 I was running the track that day with 6 F430's, a 599, 2 Vipers, and a Ford GT and I literally had more compliments on my car and exhaust that the Ferarri guys did, I think just because people simply did not expect the little M car to hang with the Ferarris.... The Ferarris pulled a bit in the straight but I held my own and gained ground in the curves depending on who was driving, the Viper pulled ALOT in the straight (supercharged!!!!) but overall, to say I was satisfied with how my car performed would be a huge understatement. My car is all stock except the exhaust (rear section modified, secondary cat removed), MS drop-in filter, and 19" Hankook Ventus's ( 1 size larger front and rear). Here are the clips!!! Sounds excellent! I was consistently averaging 145 MPH on the straight, highest speed 148 per GPS. |
