CEL reduced power problem 08 E92 M3

I was pulling out of a parking lot I drove a mile or so then I feel a slight jerk and CEL pops up with a message reduced power I have 83000 km on my car and I'm guessing its a cylinder that went anyone have this problem I'm currently on vacation in Orlando car is going to BMW Autohaus Thursday morning. Keep you guys updated if anyone has had a similar problem give me some insight on what u think thanks m3post

Well, if your cylinder went then you're gonna need a new motor.

Lol, come on, OP its probably something as simple as a bad ign coil

Bad plug, bad coil pack, bad idle control valve, bad throttle actuator..

These would be common issues that would cause that.

If a cylinder went, you'd be in a world of hurt. I doubt it unless you did something out of the ordinary.

i had cel today also after a vorshlag camber plate install of all things. cleared itself after several key cycles. mine said increased emmission. maybe the car knew i farted?

I think it's your car telling you that you need a tune from me

I have anti-fart protection in the latest version.

Lol guys I searched the problem on the forum some guy is saying he lost a cylinder wen he took it to the dealer I guess I'm just think worst case scenario but yea hopefully it's just a bad coil

Lol mike I'm still deciding on your tune and the oe tuning what ever one will work best w my gintani x pipe and obv the most power gain

My cars been sleeping for almost a week so ill start her up tomorrow when I get back from vacation and hopefully it clears itself mine said increased emissions also.

Thanks mike! I'm already tuned by sal. My first thought was somehow my tune got cleared and it was my old cel for no primaries.

Update: Turned out to be a bad ignition coil thanks for some feedback and thanks for the smart ass comments to i get a kick out of reading them.
