are after market vented hoods(arkym/vorestiner) okay to drive in the rain?
Hi guys,
I just wanted to see if water would be an issue for the engine. I currently have an ess535 on the car and was wondering if water from heavy rain, or washing, would be an issue for an arkym or vorestiner hood. Any thoughts? I have asked the vendors and know what they think, I just thought I'd ask for input from people who have the hoods. Thanks |

i have the vorestiner hood with open vent, theres no problem you drive your car in heavy rain or getting a car wash. because i dont have a grage, i just leave my car in the rain, the only thing i can feel after my car stay in the rain for over night is that the car shift later than usual(higher rpm then shift), and after u drive for a while, everything will be just like normal.
