Last DTM race at Hockenheim! pics and race start vid!

So today I went to the last DTM race at hockenheim ring. We had pit access and pretty good seats. There were ton of people, but the weather was great! During our pit access we met Joey! He was happy to see other Americans there, and thanked us for our service (we are military). He mentioned that they have a garage near nurburgring, and gave his email.. I'm hoping to go meet some of the crew!

One, thank you for your service. I retired (Navy) 25 years ago, and believe today's military is really incredible.

Two, thank you for the great pics. My wife and I did an open track evening there in 2003 with a new M3. What an experience, everything from Volkswagons to turbo Porshes, including an E36 M3 that ended up in the guardrail.

yea, Ring is a dangerous place. You see at least 4-10 accidents on a public day.
