Best colour on a M3 Coupe IMO.

Nice pics, you've all posted (incl. the English Press pics).

As many people who have taken delivery the new pic posts in this thread are sparse. Could someone PLEASE post more SSII pics
I would really apreciate it and I am sure others would too. Owner pics give such a nice perspective compared to pro pics. Thanks in advance!

To date, this is my 1st pick in color for my M3. At first I wanted silver interior, but the more I think about it, I think I will go with the black leather.

Here's my dilemma. I asked my dealer call me when a SSII M5 or M6 came in so I could see the color IRL. I went on a sunny day to look at the SSII M5. I'm not sure I liked it as i though I would. From some angles it looked too blue, like a pale baby blue that would better suit a VW beetle driven by a teenage girl. I saw another SSII M5 in traffic on a rainy day and it looked a more grayish silver color, almost like regular silver. (My Z4 is silver, this was definitely SSII)

I like that the color, like other M colors changes with the light. However not crazy about the baby blue effect. Has anyone else seen this or am I ? I am going to put dark tint on the car when I get it. Would love to see pics of the SSII M3 with tinted windows. Can anyone post or Photo Shop? Thanks in advance

Thoughts?

The SSII color definately has blue undertones to it. I would suspect that this feature is best represented in bright sunlight, so if you live in a area with alot of rain and gray skies... you will probably get bored with the silver color fast. I own a Titanium Silver 330ci and I've lived with it in Texas, Ohio, and upstate New York. In Texas it was awesome. In Ohio it was ok but getting a bit old. In NY it is totally bland most of the time because the weather just matches it too well in the Fall and Winter.

Did you see the pics of my SSII from last month, albeit in crappy UK weather. Hoping to take some more when we get a bright sunny weekend - might be waiting some time though .....

Yes. But I can't bear those rear lights on the sedan. The coupe look so much better. Plus I have to have one with the CRP roof. So it'll have to be the coupe. The kids will have to ride in my wife's car!

Here is a youtube video of a test drive of an SSII coupe in Sweden:
