Just finished reading the book "Lone Survivor" in one day---best book I have ever read. For those that are unfamiliar...It is a true story about a 4 man US Navy Seal Team sent into the mountains of Afghanistan to take out a high level terrorist.

Anyone disagree that Marcus Luttrell is one of the hardest dudes on the planet?

I read it right after it came out. Marcus Luttrell is a great American, and a real bad-ass. He was awarded the Navy Cross for his actions and heroism on that mission.

Operation Redwing was a real fuckup though, and the worst day in SEALs history. 8 SEALs on the rescue team were killed, along with 8 Nightstalkers from the 160th SOAR.

Did you read 'We Die Alone' by David Howarth? Look it up, its also a really good true story of survival. I couldn't put it down.
