Vmax M3 E9x?

What's the vmax for the M3 E9X when removing limiter?

Read 190 once somewhere, but not sure. Was an unofficial number.

No chance on 190, considering Pencilgeek's 600rwhp car had to push to hit 186.

There are very, very few cars that can do 200mph off the showroom floor. The Veyron and maybe the Ferrari 599 GTO.

Has a lot to do with gearing/hp vs resistance. Someone posted a vid of an M3 with rev limiter off going over 160 (think he hit 170 ish?) and backed off. I didn't take note of the tach to see if it was redlined or if it just flattened out. Hell I had my 1989 Mustang GT with a whole 225hp hit 155 (past the 150 indicated). Thought I was gonna die and had to back out. The positive pressure began to lift the nose. It was still pulling with 1200 rpm left to go. So to say a 414hp car would struggle past its 155 rev limiter is a bit hard to swallow.

I'd say high 170s. I've seen ~160 (twice w/ limiter). Wish I could have mine back on the A-bahn sans limiter.

Here ya go, from google...

"The E92 kit from Hamann increases the M3's output to 435 horsepower and permits a top speed of 187 mph"

How much is 15hp going to push that top speed?

That was an acceleration run within 1 mile. Big difference right?

160 is pretty easy, I hit it at TWS in the clockwise direction every time. I'd guess 180 without a limiter would be doable given how quickly it gets to 160.

Agreed, 160 comes up easily. But that last 15 - 20 - good clear conditions. Again, be nice to be on the A-bahn.
