left brake lamp failure
2010 m3
Hi all I have a left brake lamp failure on my dash. I changed all three bulbs and it did nothing. Does anyone think i need to change the socket? |

Try cleaning the contact points. The fault warning is really sensitive so even if the bulb itself lights up, a dirty contact point can be enough to still trigger it.

i've had the same damn problem, changed the blinker bulb and didn't fix it (changed one of the other bulbs and cleaned the entire unit). swapped the entire right unit and when i plugged it into the left side connection it didn't work (which tell me it's not the black bulb connection part that holds all of the bulbs)
i'm guessing fuse? now my fender blinker went out.....
