I just checked V4s in the sunny day we have today.
V4s are amazing... I will post photos later.

i had the HID kit awhile back, its way to bright so bright it blends the two rings together like a blob of light when you're looking at it.

HID kits produce more overall light, so the inner ring will be brighter, in most cases too bright and blinding. The LUX H8 V4's are designed to make the outer ring as bright as possible while making the inner ring very bright as well.
ALso be ware that some HID kits will burn the angel eyes turning them yellow forever.

Guys what I said is only a minor flaw. If your on the fence about it DONT BE!!! These lights are AWESOME in person. Pictures don't justify at all. I don't regret getting these at all.

my ibrights flickers too when I switch it off... not sure if I saw the flicker in the Lux video here on this thread though...
Overall, this package is likely the best (color output) out there for a simple bulb replacement. And the adjustable features are pretty cool, though I think most would set it at 12000 and won't switch it again for the remainder of its life. Again, I still maintain pictures and videos are deceiving as the camera lens filters background light, i want to see these puppies out in broad daylight in person, I image they would look very close to this picture, which is similar to what you should expect with most bulb systems: Last edited by mdosu; 06-05-2013 at 02:08 PM.. |

Can anyone attest to the look of these LUX H8 V4's in a 2013 E92 M3 vs the LED systems placed by OSS, ONEighty, or BavX? I know the latter are more expensive, but in the latest M3's angels with these LUX bulbs, can anyone say the LEDs look any different and are worth it? Pics?
I was disappointed when I took delivery of my '13 E92 M3 and saw the same yellow angels that my '10 E90 328 had. I want this to be one of my first mods, but I'm a perfectionist, so I need advice on what's best on my particular car. Thanks! |

They won't be the same as the LED systems, period. HOWEVER, I was in the same boat as you - and I *LOVE* my lux. I'd buy another set in a microsecond. Best mod I've done to my car visually.
