M3 E92 and DMS Automotive
Hi
I am Swiss and considering a software-upgrade from DMS Automotive. I know that the powergains are quite small for cars without turbochargers. Nevertheless I am tempted to get the upgrade to approx. 440 BHP (quoted by DMS). Does anybody has experience with this upgrade? Every feedback would be highly appreciated. Thomas |

I recommend you get an EVOLVE tune! Contact them.

An increase of 34bhp from a remap alone is impossible, while DMS has a decent reputation in the UK, I'm particularly hesitant of "tuners" who over-claim improvements. Even if DMS managed to extract that much more from a remap alone, I would be concerned about long term durability and the reduction of safety nets.

I have used DMS a few times and they did wonders to my 1M and will be using them for my E92 M3 in due course. But I will combine the remap with a change to the exhaust centre section. I have driven a DMS remapped M3 with exhaust and it is a decent improvement over stock. Definitely more mid range urge. Power up to 460+ with the exhaust (removal of front cats and 200cell sports cats in the centre) and it feels like it. DMS recaps are safe too - never taking things to the edge.
Big thumbs up for DMS from me. |

DMS great for turbo 911s RS6 etc but I went with Evolve for my E92 and I can absolutely vouch for everything about it. Process / results / people are all brilliant.
