Hey all!

If you have time today or over the weekend find my post regarding fault codes for SC e90 M.

Read the information that I have provided. It may be crucial if you are considering a SC down the road. I cannot caution you enough to stay away from VF engineering.

If you are going to do forced induction, speak with Roman and ESS. First class citizen and businessman.

I will be receiving a new ESS kit today and will be ripping out the VF product come Monday.

Even though this has been a huge burden and the only person to blame is myself for trusting and committing to a different product that did not have enough hard facts and data that it is a successful and safe product for our cars.

I feel alot more at peace knowing the product I will be putting in on Monday not only is tested and proven, but the customer service will be first class.

That sucks! What kit are you going with from ESS?

I can't wait to see it installed and hopefully in person...

+1

Silver lining, if you go with a large unit from ESS, more HP and torque will help cure the issues from the VF system.

I am looking for an informal poll as to whether I should apply a clear film or not. I have used different products in the past and now undecided between film or respray (for my upcoming M3). Weighing the upfront cost of film $600-1300 vs. future.

Just looking for other opinions.

Totally worth Doing the film. It just comes down to the quality of he film and the installer. I have had so many issues with venture shield it's stupid.

My film looks craps and has creases everywhere.

i would respray. i agree with the above with film, it is very much the quality and the installer. what you pay for with the film you can respray for less, and not worry about the lines, etc if it showing. on the other hand you don't have to worry about rock chips with the film.

Not sure why you even choose VF in the first place, but looks like that you’re in good hands now.

I am probably going to go with the film. I should have done it sooner, but oh well. I am probably going to head to Unique Car Care in Wakefield. Rick does an amazing job. A bit pricier than other options, but worth it from all the reviews I've seen.

I sent Rick an e-mail this morning inquiring about clear film. I'm within a two week window for taking delivery.

Like I stated Bztr...it was a consumer risk..just we have all made decisions in your life when cost played some variable. Have you ever wanted to own a Bironi suit but could not afford it and instead found a boutique shop that looks just as promising and you come to find out you should of paid the 5-6k for a suit?

Something like that. If you have never made a calculated decision before and come out on the bottom them cheers to you.

It's an Italian clothing maker. Like Armani or canali. Maybe a bad analog but that is all I could think of based on cost. Or like buying a set of ADV1 wheels when you know you should of paid for the HREs.

Call Rick it's faster and better for him and you.

As I stated previously the quality of the clear bra job (use the Expel product;http://www.xpel.com/) will be significantly improved by the correct and thorough surface preparation done by Rick. He has done two BMWs for me with total frontal wraps and I bet if I didn't tell you, you would never know.

I bought Apex ARC8 wheels and buy my suits at Brooks Brothers outlet so I have more money for car mods. I am more of a performance person than a cosmetic person.
