Any of you B7 RS4 Owners happy?

I was just wondering since the car came out a couple years back till today, are you guys happy with performance, maintenance, etc.

Or any of your friends, neighbors, families who own one are happy with it?

I ask also, because I dont see many threads on the RS4?

And I also noticed their are on sale (used) for dirt cheap..

Your thoughts & comments are welcome...

I love mine! You are looking at high 40's to low 50's with decent miles. Beware of scams on the low priced ones.

I bought it about 9 months ago for 55K, its an '08 and had 800 miles on it. It took me almost 4 months to find.

How can they scam for low priced ones?

Hoe come it took you 4 months.

The only bad things I heard about the RS4 is the carbon buildup and the suspension(stock).

I was told the carbon build up is there only if the car is barely driven,
if you drive it a lot or atleast not like its a ferrari or something, its no problem then,
thats what I heard.. repetitive talk about those motors is, they are meant to be pushed really hard... which is cool...

There were a few I called about where the guy would be out of the country or the car was out of the country and it need to be shipped or the phone number was disconnected. Like any used car experience it hard to know who you can or can’t trust.
Or you run into shit like this:
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...RS4...thoughts

It took me four months to find the right color, options, low to no miles, clean Carfax and a great price. With only 2500 ’07 and ’08 coming to the US its slim pick’ns

The consensus seems to be that there is a problem with Carbon Buildup…I’ll wait and see. There is definitely a problem with the DRC, mine started leaking at 1500 miles but Audi claims they are still within the correct specs…which is a bunch of B.S. I’m going to press the issue more at my 5k oil change. I can’t justify paying 4K for Stasis

Carbon build up is something that can and will effect any engine equipped with DFI, not just the RS4 or Audi. Though that said I have owned 5 DFI engined cars and never had a problem with any of them, meaning I think the issue is a little over stated. The same can't be said about the DRC system in both the C5 RS6 and B7 RS4, though I believe a redesign of the system in the C6 RS6 which early sign seem to indicate that it's pretty much problem free.

Oh I see

but I Think you should get Stasis coilovers, or another brand like KW. How come Stasis is a favorite on Audizine.com?
