Curbed my wheel today!

Ruined my whole day today. Pulled and not paying attention I lightly curbed my wheel. Any recommendations on getting this fixed or not as noticeable?

Easy repair for no more than $150. Fix it and then forget it. Your dealer can provide a recommendation if you don't know someone in your area.

Just go to the dealer, they usually have someone that can do it for you that they will recommend. I did it a while back. The dealer had contact with a company that was mobile. They came out to my place, fixed it while I was inside watching TV. I paid them when it was done and it looked as good as new.

I'll find out from the dealer who they use to repair imperfections on wheels (they normally do it on a trade in before it goes back on the lot foe sale). Or, check in town where you live who does it then phone them and find out if they do it for Mercedes, Audi or BMW.

As simple as this then you save by eliminating the middle man.

Case in point, when I ordered my Benz this past spring (our DD) I ordered it with tint. They added $350 to the bill for this. Last month I had tint done on my M3 it cost me $200- There you go.

It's not an OEM wheel though, not sure the dealer would still help

Try Aero Colours. I looked on their website and there are 3 franchises in PA. Not sure if any of them are close to you since you don't list a city.

Usually the dealership will direct you to a company that repairs wheels. They won't pay for it anyway, so they will still give you the contact info for the repairer. Doesn't matter if it's OEM or not.

I wish I had the capacity to forget this nonsense. For me, 2 weeks would be sheer hell. Everyday looking at the damaged wheel, and remembering precisely how I fucked up.

This my man is truth in it's purist form. I just curb my flawless second set lat month. It pissed the hell out of me for a couple of days. Didn't remember it until this post.

M3s are nice cars but with two kids sitting and eating in the back seat and taking bikes and scooters in and out of the garage, you get use to it pretty quick. In any regards fuck ups due to friendly fire is so much easier to accept and come to terms with than from losers in parking lots.

A friend of mine new someone locally. I can't even tell where it was on the wheel. And he only wanted 50 but I gave him 100 since he did it perfect and so quick

Curb the other wheel. Very soon, u won't care. It happened to both my rear ZCP wheels. At first, it was heart wrenching, but i realized that the ownership experience is best enjoyed if we learn to take it easy. I was toeing my way around before i curbed the first wheel. I kinda enjoy it a lot more these days. Less stressful and all. As a matter of fact, i miss driving around in a piece of crap that u can trash and park anyhow...I think i will get me a rust bucket for tooling around one of these days.

By then they will have a protective layer of brake dust and you won't even notice :-)

Luckily these wheels are pretty cheap and easy to fix minor scrapes so I'll probably get it fixed eventually.
