Anyone try this combo? Is there too much oversteer with this setup? Any input on this setup would be great, thanks!

yeah mean 275s on front??

You can NOT run 275s on front with 20s.
MAYBE with 265s in 19s. But you still have to run much smaller OD or else your tires will be touching the frame when you turn.

But in terms of oversteer/understeer, you should be fine because you are still have same 20mm difference as stock.

So 275 front, 295 rear will feel exactly the same as 245 front, 265 rear in terms of oversteer/understeer?

I am running 265/275 on stock 18". It seemed to be pretty balance.
In reality, you want understeer for everyday use.

Would it feel like 245/265..steering will feel a big heavier but the front will plant much better in turn, thus little much staple on high speed but not as agile.

275/295 would look bitch'n though. Go for it man..

By the way, are you interest in a track day on Dec 18 @ Street of Willow? It is on a Friday so it will be very light in term of track traffic... Hit me up if you are going. I live up the street from you...in Claremont & 210.

you have advan rs wheels right ? i think 275s in front would rub the inside of the wheel well on full lock... there isnt that much clearance there to begin with. i went with 255s front ... think there's enough space for 265 front ... but thats bout it. 275 is going to be tight.

I went 265 front 295 rear, but thats only because I need a little bit more rubber with the added power of an SC

no offense, but id have to disagree with that.

???? understeer good? call me crazy, but i dont want understeer...and how is it good at the track?? thats what always looked at as a bad thing, plowing, running wide, understeer ect!

also there is a guy on the forum running 275/305 with hre p43 19in. forgot his name but sure he could chime in

Cars not finished some loose ends and wait time on refinish for Brembos sets it back a bit

Well my understeer/oversteer terms are subjective. I like not having too much oversteer, but set my car up square anyway.
By understeer I mean a flat balanced handling as opposed to running wide and missing marks.
I can control oversteer just fine and depending on the track and width of the corners I tend to like to play around a lot.

But either way I have a hard to describing what I mean, I have a better time of showing than telling. I would put you in my passenger seat muck some settings up and show you what I mean. But surely we are on the same page if when you say understeer you're talking GTI and most other FWD style understeer===garbage

People with similar wheel specs as me told me they don't rub with 275/30/19.

The diameter of the whole tire is actually equivalent to a 235/45/19, so it's just if it clears width wise which EAS has tried 285/30/19 in the front and that cleared as well.

I'm already running 295/30/19 AD08's on my 10" +20 and it looks and feels great. I'm lowered on H&R and when you put it in comfort mode and hit a big dip on the freeway it does rub slightly. No major or visible damage though.

Most track beginners will have issue with understeer(esp FF cars)..

But...the car(on FR or MR cars) with slight understeer IS actually much easier to achieve better track time if the driver knows what he is doing.

No it wont feel same but somewhat similar.

You are already messing with wheel width, offset, right height, Overall diameter(this affects handling much too).
There are too many variants to say it is 100% same.

I have said this multiple times. I am running the 275/30 and 295/30 setup on my 9.5 +20 and 10.5 +22 Volks and H&R springs with NO RUBBING. It is possible with the proper offset. I love my setup.

Same here, 275/30 and 295/30 setup on my 9.5 +20 and 10.5 +22 HRE's and H&R springs with NO RUBBING.

Also at that width you can run a lower tire pressure and still have good sidewall stiffness.
