LUX and Silverstone Met II
So I am planning on getting a set of LUX Angel eyes. I am conflicted on whether to get the 6500k or the 5000k. A part of me thinks the 6500k with the "blue" hue of the Silverstone II will highlight each other. The other part of me thinks I should stay "white" and they will still pick up a blue hue due to the color of the SSII. Does anybody have pictures of a SSII with 5000k and 6500k? Looks like LUX is back ordered till April so I have time.

i dont have pics handy, but I had 6500K on my SSII. They definitely had a blue tint that was accentuated by the color of the car. This time around I went with 5000K on my AW, and I'm much happier.
It's not like the 6500K looks bad -- some people love that bluish hue. I just prefer the "whiter" look of the 5000K kit. To me it looks more OEM, and it doesn't sacrifice any brightness. Big props to LUX for offering two options! |
