Had a 328 for 3 weeks...

And from the looks of it, it's bye bye for this one.

Time for a new 4-door 3-series, I never like this one that much anyway. Maybe black/brown is the next grocery getter color...

At the end of the day two things matter:

1) Everyone was totally fine and it looks a lot worse than it was
2) Thank God I wasn't in my brand new M3

Driving 30 at night, guy in front of me braked suddenly with no taillights (had brake lights) - my reaction time from gas to brake was 2-seconds, not enough to stop.

Walked out seconds after impact, lit a cigarette - passers by looking at me like I was completely insane.

Unless they can document no tail lights the ficked finger of fate(guilt) will point at you. Unless yours is a no fault state. Glad all are OK

^^ Yeah, usually the case. Maybe they'll spread guilt to both parties, 70/30, 60/40, who knows.

At the end of the day, I walked out with a sore hand and a small airbag burn.

no offense, but that doesn't look like 30mph
I've smashed someone up @ 70km/h and it didn't look that bad..
I've been in a 5 car pile up and it didn't look that bad...

what was he driving? a brick wall? :/

glad to hear you're ok though and that insurance will cover it.. sorry about the car

PS: I don';t mean to come off as a prick.. just very very curious how that could have happened @ 30mph it seems like way too much damage.
