Okay then why can't it be used now Being dealer wanted non refundable deposit. What happens if I want to use it as cap cost now, I bet if I wanted to give dealer cap cost in cash right now he would take it.or put it towards an option in the car. How can they not honor it if they shutdown in Aug,and were not excepting orders while they were figuring out prices.

While it would be great to use on a new order it is clear the focus by BMW is to clear 2010 inventory out off of dealer lots and not for ordering new 2011 cars. That is why BMW has set the Sept 30th delivery date. Good luck getting a dealer or BMWNA to give you a break on the Sept 30th date...

My car is scheduled to finish production Sept 7th. It may or may not make it here by Sept 30th but unfortunately I had a last minute business trip come up and had to miss the driving event, so no certificate to use for me. But my dealer has made it clear, delivery by Sept 30th or no $1,000...

Dice,

no contract was signed when I ordered my '11 M3 back in June.

My friend and I both ordered our new BMWs from the same advisor, and no deposit or down was needed to secure the special order....

We both got $1000 over dealer invoice by the way.

Anyone using there 1k coupon that BMW extended till October 31. I do not need to put cap cost or security deposit down. Can I use my coupon towards the fees cause I could give dealer less out of pocket.

thats exactly how I used the $1k coupon,- offset the out of pocket cost and such...

$1k coupon is the same as cash, so use it normally as you would with money, just let your dealer know you are using $1k coupon as money out of pocket

I'm interested in the pricing people that are using the 1k coupon on a M3. A lot of people on the forums are getting pricing for invoice + 500. Has anyone used the coupon on pricing like that (i.e. essentially getting below pricing on the car)?
