hi guys,

im planning to do some events and am after a decent (doesnt have to be THE BEST) camera. not keen on spending huge amount of coin as its not going to be used very often. i remember seeing a member on here mention one he uses and when i googled it came up around $180..thats pretty good and footage he posted was very good.

I'm a massive fan of this camera.
However, I bought them on Amazon a while back for under USD100.....

I bought 5 of them which I have all over my car for different views.
And because it's a "bullet" style camera, it's small and less noticable than the GoPro.

Comes with all you need (except a micro SD card).
Round and flat mounts.
I have mine attached to the car and helmet.
But if you don't want it attached to the car (even when not on the track) you may need a suction type attachment.
As mentioned I have them all over the car - see attached.
I also have one on the front lip and one hanging off the bottom of the rear diffuser.

Those wheels look badass, so much tougher than the Ec7's. How do you stencil the tyres?

I can't wait to get my stroker back on the track, I've totally missed the winter season. I've had to go to a wider setup and was going to try some 295 hankook TD's

Do the wheels look familiars?

I'm actually keen to get a set for daily driving. Like them much better than the current 220m's. The car is no garage queen... And the 220's give that garage queen look I'm trying to avoid. The Apex wheels say "meet you at the track..."

I just used a paint pen from Bunnings. As they're track wheels, I just touch up the tyres before each outing....

I went on a v8 supercar experience at barbs and the guy had a 360fly camera on the dash that takes 360 degree videos. Pretty cool but expensive. Heard it will take over go pros.

You tracking the m3 or m5?

I bought mine from Amazon but it looks like they are not there anymore, well not the 1080 Mini. (I picked them up for USD99 back when we had a decent AUD - so I actually bought 5 which was the price of just one GoPro at the time). They have the Prime X but that's a lot more than the 1080 Mini. You could get a GoPro Sessions on sales (20% off) for around $240 on ebay from a reputable retailer..... or you could wait for their 30% off and pick one up for a little over $200. They are small and compact but I can't vouch for the quality but there are plenty of reviews online.

Cheers
