My Amazing Porsche Experience and 991 911 Deal!

Hey guys,
so i sold my m3 and was deciding on getting the new cayman. However, in the showroom at Park Place Porsche in Dallas, they had a brand new 2013 manual 991 911 Carrera in black. Curious, i went to check it out.

The sticker was $93,800
He got the price down to $86,800

It was a base Carrera with

Bose
Premium Package
Power Seats
Sunroof
a few other small things

decided to lease the car after driving it!

My Deal

$6,000 down
$829 a month including Florida tax
7500 miles a year

My sales guy's name is Colt Klatt and he was absolutely amazing to work with. I had met Colt previously at a car event but had no idea how awesome he is at pulling strings for clients. He even got my wheels powder coated black for me as part of the deal.

If you are interested in getting a porsche, ask for Colt Klatt at Park Place Porsche and tell him Nicolo sent you. I could not be any happier!!!

more pics are coming in soon as shes being sent for wheels and tint!

Beautiful car, congrats !

So you pay the basic price of an E92 M3 in Switzerland... Here a 991 911 costs around 130k$... without any option...

Congrats.

The Porsche 911 is the next step after the M3. I've been thinking about making the same move as well, except finance. Maybe when my son is done with college.

Enjoy the 911 sweetness.

Sweet car, but "pulling strings"?

$1000 per month to drive a car and own nothing at the end... Could have bought a used Cayman for what you'll put into this in the next 2+ years.

Regardless, enjoy it!

Yeah, that $130 savings over two years is a real killer.

Great looking car, a friend has an identical S with a manual, I think you'll really enjoy it.

You can back it out with math. Using your numbers the MF comes out to approx .00229(5.5%). Seems high, If the MF was .00127 which is current on some BMW's your payment would be $661!

Bad idea to put money down on a lease, if you total your car, you won't get it back. Next time insist on nothing down.

Buy rate is .002, looks like they marked it up minimally. Unfortunately, MF from PFS is horrible right now. High residuals help though.

I would imagine that 7500 miles a year in Texas is like nothing. How much are the extra miles going to cost you? That could be where you sales friend is laughing on the inside.
