its the line of the clear coat

why does it matter if what generation M it is? This isn't M3 forum with special areas for each generation. It just so happens this site is dominant on the E9x generation.

LOL, are you kidding me? Have you ever looked at the heading of the forum you're in? Obviously not, it states " M3 (E90 / E92 / E93)". So, yeah, it's for a specific generation as the site and title of it's thread's say.
