Looks like a ton of fun.

But doesn't this vid just go to show that the driver is the biggest factor in how fast a car goes?

The GT-R driver seemed inexperienced and, frankly, a little lost in some of the turns where you seemed to be hitting the apexes consistently and accelerating nicely out of the corners. Sure it ran away on the straight and got bogged down by the Porsche but there were definitely areas to make up ground on him.

Thanks for sharing.

The driver was certainly the factor, however the other driver was doing "better than most" while driving the GTR.
He was hitting is lines well, but when the M3 ran up on him on day 1 here, it looked as if he lost concentration and missed his points in the moment. In a Sunday session he did pass the M3. He was a solo advanced driver.

Great video, loved the transitions and the M3 was clearly the better driver but do know how it feels to have someone run up on them. A GTR driven mediocrely can beat most cars driven very well, but as always the driver is the biggest "mod". Thanks for posting

Partly driver, partly r-comp tyres (which by themselves are worth a few seconds). Very nice M3.

+1. There was a driver running a GTR in the intermediate group at my last event. He was blazing down the front straight but created trains in the corners.

Cool vid thanks for sharing.
