I like to know what you use for your best friend in your ///M3
No I mean your best friend your dog (not the one you are thinking about)
What seat belt or restrainer do you use when you take little or big fellow along for a ride ... to the dog park naturally ... always a good reason to take your toy for a spin ... most of you will agree with me They say if you are in an accident the police will shoot your dog before they will rescue you from the car (should that be the case heaven forbid). So lets discuss restraining devices you use or makeshift dog seat belts. Thanks fellows!

If anyone reads the news police have been mowing down family pets left and right lately. Kinda pathetic if you ask me. Theres a couple cases of police serving a warrant on the wrong house and killing the family dog when it comes to see who is breaking in during the middle of the night.

I just thought of this for you. Go to the junk yard and buy the male end for the seat belt for your model car then weave a long enough leash through where the belt would go, then clip it in to a seat belt receiver. Ta da. Seat belt leash for your little buddy. Custom, OEM, cheap and easy. I call it the....... sorry, dont have a name for it yet and i dont know if it already exist. Hope that works.

You are a true dog lover. I dont think id ever put my dog in my m3 when I get it. Then again I have a pitbull who doesnt like car rides and a german shepherd who just shed wayyyyy too much. There are doggy seat belts at petsmart you could try. My friend has one he loves it.

My dog and my M3 are like my wife and my mistress, they will never meet. I wouldn't want my dog scratching up the leather in the M3 and I wouldn't want my wife scratching up my mistress.

my guy rides on the floor in front of the passenger seat on a towel i put down for him on the floor.part of the towel is on the seat.it catches most of the hair, and protects the seat if he jumps up,which he doesn't do much, because i've tried to teach him to stay on the floor in front of the seat.he's safe down there if something happens, and we're both happy to have him there.

She has one of these:
http://www.caninecovers.com/ I feel if she's in the car and there is an accident severe enough to have to pry me out, she's probably not in great shape. This breed is known to give life for her master, if she were in pain, the officer would be doing the right thing regardless. You have to be carful with dog seats, belts, etc.; dogs do better on their own if they are free to move around instead of being snapped around unnaturally.

I would take my dog in my car if it wasnt brand spanking new. I used to takehim out from time to time in my previous 335 but would out sheets on the front seats and center console. We now only use my wifes 2007 X5 which we have a seat belt harness for. You connect the harness to a seat belt clip and voila, the dog goes no where.

I usually use my girlfriends car, but if I have to use mine, I'll just throw a few thick towels on the front seat and he knows not to move an inch!

Petco’s Premium Seatbelt Harness, and Kurgo’s Car Door Guard and Shorty Bucket Seat Cover... **DON’T try this in your E93 with the top down, I’m still finding hair EVERYWHERE even after 2 thorough vacuum sessions! I won’t be doing that again!!

lol of course they do.
I put a little dog blanket on my gf's lap and the dog lays on it. luckily its a small dog I told her if she gets another one we have to zip tie its legs together and put it in the trunk so it doesnt ruin the leather joking of course. |

I purchased the e92 seat cover from tischer. It wasn't cheap ($271) but it covers both the rear seats, the seat backs from the front seats, the rear center console area (behind the arm rest) and the door panels.
It's part number 52300416248. As far as harnesses, I use some piece of crap I bought from petsmart. It seems to work fine. It's called like EZ Rider or something. He's not a small dog so I didn't want him to tear up the car, so the expense was worth it. Here he is with both E92's.

News to you that many cops love dogs and have them in their family. I love my dog and would be pissed if the police shot my dog serving a warrant at the wrong location. Whats pathetic is the people who believe the news as fact. Omission of the fact is still a lie.
