Lease Calculation Q: Gas Guzzler and Acq Fee part of MSRP?

I've done a lot of searching before posting this, but haven't seen a clear answer.

Planning to do a Euro Deliver M3 'vert.

On my lease calculations, my research shows that the Gas Guzzler Tax is counted as part of the MSRP - thisis good for helping the residual value calcuation.

My question: Is the Acquisition Fee also counted in the MSRP calculation?

Thanks!

neither gas guzzler or acquisition fees are considered part of the MSRP for the residual value calculation. They are added to the cap cost of the vehicle only. the MSRP is only what's on the Monroney label

Since I sent this, I've had a few responses.

According to a dealer on the bimmerfest forum, gas guzzler is on the Monroney label is part of the MSRP and residualized....but acquisiton fee is not.

AutoXer, where are you getting your info?

gas guzzler tax

destination and gas guzzler are part of the msrp and get residualized.
acquisition fee of $725 paid on delivery, be careful of dealers marking up fee by $200

Does this go for European Delivery? And if it's US ordered, can they then add the $200 to the $725?

not sure for Euro delivery but I know acq fee is paid on signing and BMW allows a markup of $200. Also look out for other bogus fees like a dealer preparation fee, vehicle finder fee, doc fees in NY are set at $75, but I have heard of this fee in the several hundred dollar range.

You pay it when you sign the leasing papers prior to your ED. The dealer can mark it up whether it's ED or US-D.
