6MT, Downshifting to 2nd Gear?
So I was trying to downshift from 3rd to 2nd in around 3500-4000 rpm and the gear was just refusing to go to 2nd gear. I tried it few more times and the same thing happens again. Downshifting to other gears was working fine. Also downshifting to 2nd gear in lower rpm was working fine. I was wondering if anyone else has ever had the same problem?
And I should say I didn't search so sorry if it is a repost.

Are you sure you're moving the shifter the right direction? I say this because I found this sort of problem happening to me as well, but I realized I was pulling too far to the bottom left corner at an angle. And at those higher RPMs, you just seem more focused in shifting as soon as possible. So I suggest just making sure you're pulling downward and not a 45 deg angle towards yourself. Sorry if that doesn't make sense, getting late over here and some beer isn't helping.

You might be going too far to the left into the reverse gate and pulling down.

Yeah, this happens to me.... more often than I'd like. And it's absolutely my fault--pulling too close towards me and going towards reverse. I need to learn how to stop doing that :P

True, but when you are driving your car hard, you tend to change gear with more force and quicker as well. I agree with you though
