Changing the stock X-Pipe to the Fabspeed setup with high flow cats results in dramatically healthier tone. Deeper. Louder. Less muffled. All with stock mufflers.

I then added the Eisenmannm Sport and it hits in you in the chest with tone.

It is crazy talk to think swapping stock X for this upgrade lessens rumble.

Thank you. I needed the reassurance that it was, in fact, crazy talk. I'm getting cabin fever just sitting around thinking about it. Thanks for splashing water on my face

Crazy talk is thinking that your setup sounds the same as mine. I have no resonators and stock primary cats....signicantly deeper?? I think not .

I replaced my primaries with the high flow. Trust me, it is much deeper. My car sounded like "X" when it arrived at Fabspeed. When I picked it up with the high flow cats, X-Pipe and resonators, it was way deeper. Like "2X". Jeremy even revved it and pointed out just how much louder it was. The stock primary cats are a big restriction. Anything you remove from the stock setup will increase volume. Some things more than other things.

Hopefully it gets here ASAP so I can post up some nice vids for them

J08M3--You should have your performance package today as it's currently on the vehicle for delivery in Commack, NY.

I am posting all of the videos I have to date regarding various exhaust setups on the E92 so you have a better understanding of what components sound like when combined with Fabspeed's X-Pipe and High flow Sportcats:

Fabspeed 2ndary Catbypass "X-Pipe" with Stock Muffler>+16HP/9ft-lbs tq

DYNO CHART

Fabspeed 2ndary Catbypass "X-Pipe" with Remus Race>+10HP/13ft-lbs tq

Fabspeed 2ndary Catbypass "X-Pipe" with Resonators and 200 cell High-flow Primary Sportcats, ECU Upgrade with Stock Muffler>32HP/17ft-lbs tq

Yea, I have to step back in and say they have been very cool to deal with. Wasn't meaning to post up anything negative before about the two weeks. Just was getting a little frustrating on this end since I have someone installing a bunch of stuff for me and trying to hold a schedule with the rest of their appointments.

I will be posting up some third party independent pics as soon as it arrives to me so you guys can check the quality for yourselves.

Am I reading this correctly that the stock muffler made more HP than the Remus Race exhaust? That is surprising if true.

You probably gain less with the x-pipe if you've already put free-flowing mufflers on the car. Unfortunately power increases from different parts are not cumulative.

nope Eisenmann sport is for sale (preferably for trade with Eisenmann Race ) For now it's going on to AA mufflers.

At first I wanted this car quiet, but now I miss having one that screams

I understand that but I read this to mean gains over stock with each scenario. Not additional with just the X-pipe but maybe that explains this.

Damn this forum and this thread...lol. Another $2500 is going to bite the dust shortly. Thanks for the pics J08.

I was very surprised at how tame the sound output was on the Eisenmann Race. My Eisenmann Race is being installed this week, and have been told to expect a loud exhaust that will shake the neighbors' windows. I had thought that with the Xpipe it would have been super loud. Pleasantly surprised by what the video showed.
