Horsepower

How much Horse Power does your car have?

Crank HP for my 330i is rated by BMW at 255HP, rear wheel horse power will be a bit lower around 230HP-ish.

I was dreaming of this thread to expand infinately, yet no one showed any interest. Until AW330i answered straight forward the stock engine output of 255HP for the 330i E90. Thank you for keeping this thread alive

i assume 65 is some kind of motorcycle, but did you do any mods to your 325 and Z4 to get those other numbers?

no mods, is it like 218 instead? I know the Z4's sposed to have a few extra HP over the old 330 due to intake and exhaust being tuned a bit

I'm not 100% on any of those #, and the 65 is my SV650

i'm pretty sure the 325i has 215hp and it depends which Z4 you have. for prior to 2006 models there were 2.5 with 184hp and 3.0 with 225hp, so i'm guessing you have the 3L version of it..

pick one up man!!!!

I used to commute on the thing back when I lived in LA, the only way to get around down there (lane splitting)

it was my first bike, and a pretty good bike to learn on (while still being fun a couple of years down the road)

they can be had brand new for a ballpark of 6 grand OTD (tax... included)

i wish!!! i was also looking at an older R series BMWs because you can get them used (2003-4) for around $1.5k or so. when i started being really serious about getting one, there had been some accident where a kid died on a motorcycle and my girlfriend basically said it's either her or the bike. i tried to explain to her that the kid was riding his daddy's $11k honda at 120mph trying to make a 90-degree curve in the rain, but she didn't listen

yeah, it's not a safe hobby, I don't really ride that much anymore

family's and girlfriends and the wisdom that comes with age can conspire against the motorcycle

it's a great rush though, no convertible can match a bike for the sheer ability to just relax and cruise and clear your mind

Shimshimhada take it easy there before you blow a gasket, go for a drive in your E90, that should make you feel better.

Ok Shimshimhada, i'll change it to the horse we all know.
