John's Spacer fitment thread! 20mm front / 15mm rear

Hey Guys!

Here is a quick thread showing how 20mm spacers fit on the front and 15mm spacers fit in the rear of the e9x m3.

The rear will rub on the outside edge where the rear bumper mates up to the rear 1/4 panel. The rubbing is not excessive but it will rub a little bit until the plastic on the rear bumper is shaved down a little bit.

The car has factory 19" wheels with factory PS2 tires (245/35 & 265/35)
The car is lowered on RD sport springs
The alignment specs are 1.8* camber in the front and 2.0* camber in the rear- (pins taken out of front strut hats)

It also seems to be reported, and it makes sense, that spacers will magnify any sort of wheel/tire imbalance at high rates of speed.

John, you left out too many details brother.

Exact tire brand/sizes front and rear?

Is the suspension lowered on springs or not?

If so, which brand of lowering springs are you using?

Any adjustments to the factory spec'd alignment settings?

To put your results in the proper perspective...we need details!

This car is on RD springs
The wheels are factory 19"
The tires are factory size ps2's
IDK about the alignment
All above is correct unless changes have been made recently

For Petite LeMans, I put the GP Thunder 3000k yellow bulbs in the car as a GT2 M3 tribute. They look so good that Im leaving them! They are MUCH more yellow than the factory bulbs and pretty damn bright! I love them- I also bought a set of 7500 GP thunder bulbs as well- The OEM angel eye bulbs look white compared to these 3000k bulbs- very big difference.

no, not at all- The car does have our stud and lug conversion. We have yet to be able to break one of our studs

20mm might seem large to most people but it really isnt- Dont make me put a 50mm spacer on there like those Porsche peoples
