Touch Up Paint

Where's the best place to order touch up paint from for Melbourne Red? As I was driving down the road, a lawnmower threw out something which caused a small dent and scratch. Got the dent taken care of today.

If you go to the parts counter at your BMW dealer you can buy the exact paint. They will take your VIN and match it to the year / batch / etc. Cost like $15 for a small container, but it is enough for small touch ups.

Ok. Got some ordered. I'm thinking my detailer can get out 99% of the scratch and I can just touch up the paint.

Everyone I have talked to has said not to get the door repainted since it's MR and it's metallic.

I would agree. Someone who knows what they are doing can do a good enough job with the touch up paint and some TLC.

I was actually driving down a 2-lane country road. Mower was mowing on the opposite side of the road in the grass next to the road. Mower must have thrown something out.

i feel you austin. My zhp was parked, and I don't know how the heck, but some one either backed-up into my car, or was pulling into the parking slot too much. left a dent and scratch.
