My question is, should I trade in my 07 335i for it? knowing that I would get around 8k for it and maybe not put down payment? Or should I hold out and do it the right way? The way I wanna do it is have at least another 8k for down payment and 6 months of salary to cover the cost if something happens (nothing should if I have CPO). Just moved to San Francisco, I got a new job and I need to get rid of my 335i because at 136k miles it's falling apart..


I don't wanna miss out on a good deal, or is this even that great of a deal? Should I wait? I'd like some input please. Thank you..

It's a good deal, not a great deal. But, if it's the car you want. It may be hard to find again. From a Financial point of view, it's your call. Rates are under 2% with credit unions, don't know if that makes any difference.

Doesn't hurt to ask. Chances are, you'll get more selling your car privately but with additional headaches. That's always the trade off. I used Digital Credit Union out of New England. It was lower than Pen Fed. Local CU sometimes match. It depends on where you live. Check your local CU for rates. PM me if you have any additional questions.

I did not realize it is a limerock... If it is just an orange M3 for you, then you can group it with other M3's... Otherwise, the Limerock aspect of it will have a greater value for you.

I would still offer no more than 54 or 55k. The true Market value is in the paint and designation, and I am not sure if there was any software variation in the traction control or other item. I think the power was stock otherwise. Paying 3 k to 7 k extra for this 'value' is significant. 58k just sounds high. By comparisons... a stripper M3 2016 at ED invoice will be 56k... Just saying. It is good to put all things into perspective. You may not get the 56k price for a while on a stripper 2016 M3, due to low allocations and folks not wanting to sell you a low config 2016 car this year... but give it a year and then dealers will be dealing... New M3 prices will begin to be fair once the hype finally dies down and allocations grow. This is my forecast at least... and hence, I am sitting and waiting.
