That would be the sickest engine ever made period. with revised intakes like on the csl and .4 liters, this engine would be producing like like 400hp and 300 torque.

I thought they stopped making them a few months ago when they stopped production on the Z4 M. It's still sad. That was a sweet engine. My understanding is that it could not meet the new emissions standards coming up.
I remember around the time when I got my '02 M3 how everyone was saying that the exhaust note sounded like something was wrong with the engine. However, I grew fond of the rasp -- a very unique and distinctive sound when you revved it up to near 8000 rpm. It was such a joy to take that car down a curvy back road with the windows down. I really miss it.
