New M3 - Where to get laser detector/jammer
So have traded in my RS4 for a new E92 M3 Coupe, just had the running-in service done, and now, urgently need a Laser Detector / Jammer !!
had one fitted on the RS4 and it paid for itself many times over. Does anyone know where I can get a decent device ? Also - Milltek or Remus Race ???? thanks for your help... |

I use a Pogo Alert which is a GPS speed camera device, nice small device and better than road angel in my opinion cost about £240 and I also have a Target LT400 which is my jammer which cost just under £300
As you say, priceless equipment! http://www.radar-detector-shop.co.uk/products/lt400.php http://www.radar-detector-shop.co.uk...pogo-alert.php |

Quote "abuzz this week with the story that Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has equipped his fabulously expensive luxury yacht with a "laser shield" of camera detection devices. If I understand correctly, these gadgets, when they sense a camera lens directed at the yacht, fire off a beam of light that destroys the photograph or video being taken" Now that's how to do it Marc |

It is easy to install, 12v feed which goes through a switch which you put in the car. You leave the jammer on all the time but if you do get lasered it gives an audible tone. Once you have decreased your speed turn off the jammer so it gives the rozzers a chance to get a reading. Turn it back on afterwards!

If you can afford it get the Akrapovic... far superior... but pricey

Thanks all - laser detector now all fitted - wired up to the cigar lighter and works a treat.
Now, about this Remus Race ..... does it fit staraight onto the existing pipework or is their 'cutting' involved ? And how much should i expect to pay for the pipe ? thanks |
