I just saw this video on Channel 13 ABC news. This minor accident occurred in the Woodlands area on Thanksgiving.

so did they go to jail? I know in Harris county if you are caught racing they can seize your car, do not know about Montgomery county though

UPDATE: The news now reports that the two drivers have been identified and that prosecutors will be pressing criminal charges against both for street racing resulting in an injury--a felony. (Apparently one of the guys had a minor injury--I'm guessing its the C6 on the left that got bull-dozed).

The Guy on the left (c6) was a 22 year old kid, he was driving on a suspended license also. The car belonged to a family friend, not the kids car. When the police arrived on the scene the kids mother also arrived. Just when the cop was about to put the cuffs on the kid his mother claimed that the kid was injured and needed to go to hospital - Thus escalating it all to a felony..... Don't ask me how I know, but The Woodlands is a small town.

I'm not going to say I'm an angel on the roads but street racing is a no-no. I think the guy who explained the details of the video hit it right on the head. Sometimes your gearhead, competitive side gets the better of you. I've been tempted a couple of times.

Definitely a stupid thing to do but I think any of us would be lying if we said we never had been tempted, or even didn't do it once or twice. But shit, to have some asshole drama queen recorded it and upload it to youtube to get famous?? :-)

Werd...there should be some code of conduct among "gearheads". Like not posting videos of street racing to youtube.

Just seen this. Actually the C5 had an Auto Transmission for starters... People just piss me off some times!!
