This goes to all 328i/128i owners who are insecure about their car choice (because they didn't buy the faster 335i/135i) and therefore fear being put down by a 335i/135i owner when making any statement regarding speed or how fast their car is.
"It's not the fastest car but . . . . " Or "It's not a (135i/335i/M3) but . . . . " Last edited by chris82; 01-13-2015 at 12:29 PM.. |

"Couple chips, cracks, and scuffs, but in mint condition."
Unless it is absolutely flawless and needs nothing, it's not "mint" condition at all.

Of course it is what it is. How can it be anything else other than what it is. Is it fucking opposite day and you're breaking the rules? Are YOU telling ME that it is something that it's not? What a spectacular proposal!
Thanks for the brain freeze.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this one yet:

That's a new one to me, I actually like it. Clever.
"Rims" is not a phrase, but it drives me crazy. It's wheels FFS! Rims doesn't even make sense. You could call them Barrelz if you wanted to be guido and add a "z" to everything. But "Rims"? Things I would do...

This is a must have option. I can not live without it. (When refering to the heated steering wheel).
There are no "must have" options. Period. Just because some engineers or sales folks thought of it, does not all of a sudden mean your life depends on it. |

Then again, I have bad night vision and HID is my "must have option" since it actually has better night vision since I can barely see anything with halogen. How do you define that? Just curious.

As an option which allows a person who should not be driving at night the partial ability to do so while still being dangerous to others on the road because that individual views driving as a right and not as a priviledge?

It is what it is.
For the win. Wet. Never a fan of any of those phrases.

It's not like I'm completely blind, just slightly less distance than others... It's for better visibility since I can see perfectly with HID, but halogens take a bit more effort (but not impossible). Either way, I still can drive better in the dead of night without glasses/contacts and using just the moon to illuminate my way better than someone with 20/20 no-glasses-required vision in broad daylight in this wretched neighborhood, which they have honed my defensive driving skills and reckoning methods considerably, but still annoys the piss out of me and I'm getting the hell out of here once my worker's comp arrives.
