I don't know if your thinking of the same thing I am, but I seem to recall IND having some sort of rear seat delete mod that replaced the seat with a whole bunch of CF panels. I would keep the stock front seats, do the IND CF panels and add the roll cage. I'm sure your little girl would love the race car like feel with the roll cage. I know I would.

I pick up my daughter from school with this car. If I have the rear-seat delete she needs to sit in the front (she did that in the Cayman, and she loves that - obviously), but if I have the Recaros I would need to disable the airbag since the weight sensor will be gone... and that would mean that any regular adult passenger would't have an airbag (I could have them fill out a track disclaimer form every time someone rides with me )

So here are my options:

Keep the stock seats - do the rear-seat delete and add the roll-cage. I think that would look pretty badass.

Or..

Do the Recaro seats, keep the rear-seat for the kid and skip the roll-cage. Probably the best choice for daily living...

What do you guys think?

Either way you can't go wrong, but for sharing the M3 fun with your kid (priceless) and Daily Driving purposes, Option A (Keep Front Seats, Roll Cage, Rear Seat Delete).

They do, those seats don't require side mounts either from what I remember, not 100% sure tho; but with hardware and everything installed those seats and the pole positions come out to around the same weight

... and just in case the exhaust is too quiet for me, I have a new a Eisenmann Race Black Series on hold.

So are you using seat sliders with the OMP seats? Will they slide forward enough to allow you to "squeeze" your daughter into the back seat? If the seat sliders are similar to Sparco's then good luck because I wasn't able to slide a Sparco Pro2000 very far forward in my e46 M3 - seat would hit the center console before running out of travel. Perhaps the e92 M3 won't have the same issue
