^^ Like he mentioned your rear will be 1/4" shorter than the front.
If you didn't want to go with the 285/30 which would put you @ about the same height as the front, try 255/35 & 275/30. This will put your rears 1/2" higher just like stock. Did **********s recommend that setup? Calculator here - http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12 Last edited by Moxie; 04-21-2012 at 11:20 AM.. |

I bought the wheels and tires separately. I figured the half inch difference in wheel size and the increase in width wouldn't be an issue and that the 30 would facilitate a little more clearance in the back to avoid rubbing.

Removed the spacers. Offset change resulted in a very similar stance. I forgot to mention that the wheels came with hub rings to go from 74.1 hub diameter to the M3's 72.56. No issues with rubbing. I did some hard u-turns on the way home. I haven't had anyone in the back yet to see if there's an issue with a little weight on the wheels.

i like the wheels, but not the finish. anthracite/gunmetal instead of black is more my taste.

Was rocking the 220M for a while, so I wanted a little different finish. I have gloss black side vents, hood vents, kidney grill, M5 style mirror with black underside from IND, and M3 badge. I also recently replaced my center lower grill with a new one I painted gloss black.
