no it's crazy man. it's like you see it black with some blue spots right, then later you cant see the blue spots at all, at the same time when i wasnt seeing the blue at all others couldnt see the black haha

is anyone on "Madame Butterfly"? i did the math and seems that April 10th or April 15th is my ETA at the port in CA (port huneme). so im either on 'Madame Butterfly' or im on 'Maersk Wave'....

if OC shows awaiting transport your car is probably en route by now. call the 800 # for a more accurate status bro.

I dont know, my car's been done for over a week now i thought i was going to make it on a vessel today (Madame Butterfly) but when i search for my VIN i see nothing

the worst thing in the wait is when the car is waiting to be picked up by train, or by vessel... such a waste of time!

Weird. Mine went into production Friday morning and they gave me an estimate of March 24 for completion.

we told it's probably a mistake. takes 3-4 days to build the car.

seems you can track the ship. I tracked Maersk Wave coz i think it's the next ship that's taking off that *might* have my car on it, if i missed madame butterfly

My car was not in production Friday per the hotline. It just had me at order pending. I was also suprised that this morning I'm in production with a vin # and that completion is expection on March 20th. Looks like the cumputer is only somewhat accurate as far as exact dates of production. My dealer had told me that next week I was scheduled for production.

I called and the lady said it's not showing whether it's still in the factory awaiting transport or at the port awaiting a ship.... I'm hoping it's at the port awaiting for a ship... what's the schedule again for ships that are going to Ca.? Man.... can't believe this waiting bit... you get excited when you see it on the OC that it's in transit (which really doesn't say much ) but then disappointed that you can't track it after that... oh well... the saga continues.... let's all hope safe voyage to our cars....

oh sure you can track it man. if BMWNA doesnt know about ur car that's good news! that means it's at the port if not already loaded on a vessel! sounds like we're on the same "boat" i mean same situation. maybe we'll depart together

this is how u track it:
go here http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppSchedules/
then click "search by port" on the right hand side (a few small links under a picture)
put from germany to U.S.A
then pick bremerhaven as origin port, and Port Hueneme, Ca for destination, and hit search

u can see we *probably* missed today's vessel which is Madame Butterfly which arrives in CA on the 10th of april. the next one, crossing fingers, is Maersk Wave arriving on the 16th.

click on the "Voyage" number to get details (where it says ED811-MBU for madame butterfly for instance)

looking at the ship schedule on post #263 and with the info from BMW, it's looking like my car won't get to Port Hueneme til the 13th of April on the Maersk Wave... Oh well... the automated service is saying that my car is on its way to the port of exit.... I sure hope I catch the Maersk Wave at the very latest.... Mantis - what do you think? you think you got on the Madame Butterfly? or is the automated no. late as well... I called and talked to a live person earlier today and they said the same thing....

from this point and on the 800 has no value for you bro. they know as much as you do. From this point and on your CA can tell you the vessel #. but in reality you and I know more than any CA, to be honest.

"logically" we both should have been on madame butterfly. our cars have been sitting at the port of exit for days. i am "thinking", for once, that it takes a day or so to update the tracking information based on our VIN's. so im going to give it until tonight or tomorrow morning before i conclude that our cars arent on Madame BUtterfly.

BTW google madame butterfly vessel, and google maesrk wave and look at them. I'd rather be on butterfly dude... looks generations newer
