RPI GTM pros and cons

I am seriously thinking of buying an a RPI GTM, but since my M3 is a daily use car, I am wondering if this system with not cats and advertised as a "race only/ off road exhaust" will be a pain in the ass to maintain on a daily basis.

Any advice?

I hear the GTC is awesome, what made you pick that one? By maintain, I mean does it affect in any negative way the gas consumption, oil, etc. Also, since there are no cats do you see any smoke coming out of you pipes?
