Who bought my AW/Blk E90 DCT - New Century BMW?

OK I am wondering what happened to the beloved vehicle I ordered.

(Yes i know this is a useless and self-centered post)

It was supposed to arrive at New Century BMW in Alhambra sometime in July.

I drove the C63 and liked the torque. I feel it is a better car for my needs.

I never got one... last I knew my car had gone status 112 when I pulled the plug. The dealer was actually happy to be getting it for stock though. My salesguy was cool!

How do you like the C63? I am contemplating now between E90 M3 or C63. But I like the color JB, and you can't find it on C63

I am VERY happy with it! It has met or exceeded my expectations. Met my expectations in acceleration, exceeded my expectations handling/grip-wise. The car is very stable and solid. It can be stealthy, or a loud butt-kicker. It cruises like a luxury car until you floor the gas. Then everyone takes notice. It's just FREAKIN FUN to drive because of the power. I really like feeling like I'm driving around with a weapon under the hood. I guess that's why some people like guns. Makes them feel powerful. Well that's what this car does for me, seriously, ...knowing what it can do makes me grin and giggle behind the wheel.

I am not planning to track the car. That among other things led me to choose the C63 over the M3 DCT Sedan. I admit I was concerned about reliablity on the BMW. At this point, I'm glad I went with my gut.

My first "sit" in the C63 I had the same impression. At that point I was still firmly in the M3 camp and waiting for my car. I sat in the C63 and noticed some glaring cheapness... the door lock pulls and the plastic covers over the hinges in the trunk being two things that really stuck out. And that did leave an impression. However I think I was just looking for reasons to rule it out.

If I wanted a 6MT though, M3 of course. In fact I still need a winning lotto ticket so I can get a 6MT M3 just because! The only problem with that is I hate filling up so often, and with 2 gas guzzlers I'd be at the gas station 4 times a week with my 100 mile commute ....

I am wondering why you are still thinking about the M3. If I was happy with my C63 purchase, I would have forgotten about the M3 long ago!

I am always thinking about cars. It's a sickness.

My daily driver Evo 8 has 82,000 miles on it now and the more miles I rack up on it, the more I have to resist the urge to replace it.... because I love it and there's nothing wrong with it!

I still read this board because I get bored and have ADD. Oh yeah and there are some cool enthusiasts here too.

MB sales guy called today...he has a C63 in stock. Just came in. Want's me to come in to look at it. What should I do??? I want the M3 but can't resist the power of the C63. Please help!!!

At the same time Hans bought his C63, I was also in the same predicament. I did go visit the MB dealer and looked at the car. They wouldn't let me drive the car, just sit in it and kick the tires. The very next day, I received a call from the BMW dealer saying that they finally had allocation for my E90 DCT. My M3 will finally be here Monday or Tuesday next week. If the dealer hadn't called, I may be in a C63 right now. I have been waiting with a deposit for almost a year.
